Alessandra Ambrosio Shares Fashion Inspiration Behind Her Cannes Film Festival Looks

Aside from the pregnant Adriana Lima, another former Victoria’s Secret Angel graced several red-carpet premieres at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio attended the screening of at least two movies, and she did so in style. She certainly amped up the glamour in Cannes, and her most recent appearance got everybody talking.

Ambrosio stunned in a pink floral gown at the Celebration of Women in Cinema Gala hosted by the Red Sea International Film Festival during the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

The romantic gown from Elie Saab’s Spring 2022 Haute Couture collection is a sheer nude ball gown adorned with pink floral embellishments and gold beads.

It also comes with thick crystal-embellished straps, a cleavage-baring sweetheart neckline, and an extra voluminous floor-sweeping skirt.

Adding brilliance to the look, the rich model wore sparkling diamond jewelry from Boucheron. She styled with a $54,900 Quatre radiant ring and a pair of chunky diamond drop earrings.

Her hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos gave her a shoulder-length blunt haircut, while makeup artist Georgi Sandev highlighted her eyes with mascara, winged eyeliner, and pink eyeshadow.

She also applied a swipe of soft pink lipstick to the look and a matching blush on her cheeks.

In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Alessandra shared her Cannes experience, saying, “The carpet experience starts before you even arrive at the Palais.”

“Driving down the Croisette can be a bit hectic, but as soon as you hit the carpet, you get the adrenalin rush, and it feels like you are in a dream.”

The tall model also shared the inspiration behind her Cannes looks. “To me, Cannes Film Festival is all about glamour. My main inspirations when thinking of what to wear for the festival are my favorite fashion icons Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly, and Elizabeth Taylor, but I always add my own twist on the look.”

The previous day, Alessandra stole the spotlight at the Three Thousand Years of Longing premiere in a metallic silver Alberta Ferretti skintight dress that impeccably highlighted her slim model figure.

The strapless number is fully embellished with light-catching crystals and silver sequins that create a mirror-like finish.

It also has a plunging neckline emphasizing her boobs and an embellished gray sheer fishtail hem that concealed her Casadei metallic silver glitter bow-detail sandals with 5.3-inch Blade stiletto heels.

As if her gown wasn’t sparkly enough, the Casino Royale actress accessorized with another set of Boucheron jewelry.

She wore a pair of $4,460 Serpent Boheme Ear Studs in white gold, a $38,100 Vendome Lisere Ring, and an $88,900 Serpent Boheme Solarite Necklace.

Her glam team gave her a vampy look, with heavy smokey eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and sleek beach waves.

Last week, Alessandra graced the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Armageddon Time, and she made an entrance in a white ball gown from Stephane Rolland’s Couture Spring 2022 collection.

The mom-of-two got heads turning in the risky number that features a sheer nude sleeveless bodice decorated with three large crystal-embellished detailing that was strategically placed to cover her modesty.

It also has an open back and a voluminous full skirt ball gown in white silk satin that matched her opera gloves.

Richard Lee’s girlfriend added elegance to the look with Boucheron jewelry, including a pair of $78,400 extra-large Serpent Boheme Sleepers earrings and a matching $230,000 Serpente Boheme necklace.

Her hairstylist coiffed her tresses into an elegant center-parted bun, with a few wisps left loose on one side to frame her gorgeously made-up face.
