Travis Scott x Nike Footwear Set To Release This Month

Vilified by both media outlets and fans alike following the tragedies at Astroworld, Travis Scott was quickly renounced by the names previously in his corner. Nike, however, had little to say, only indefinitely delaying the release of La Flame’s upcoming collaborations, such as the Air Max 1 and Air Trainer 1. And while some may think it’s too soon for the artist to rejoin the limelight, the Swoosh has differing opinions, as Nice Kicks reports that these very shoes are dropping this May.

Both silhouettes — the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 and Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 — are expected to release this month in two colorways per. Tinker Hatfield’s beloved runner, which has been customized with backwards Swooshes and outdoors-themed webbing, will meet La Flame’s “Baroque Brown” and “Saturn Gold” make-ups. Yet another one of Hatfield’s designs, the high-top trainer is being customized with “Wheat” and “Grey Haze” palettes, both of which feature zippers across the heel, co-branded patches, and the like.

For a closer look at the four sneakers, see below. According to Nice Kicks, a drop is rumored to take place on May 20th via TravisScott.com. A release through Nike SNKRS will take place soon after on May 27th.
